Join us on March 19 for said services at 8am and 12:10pm, or for a choral Festal Eucharist at 5:30pm, sung by the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys.

There are only two feast days we celebrate during the season of Lent at Saint Thomas: The Feast of Saint Joseph (March 19) and the Feast of the Annunciation (March 25). All other feast days that fall within Lent are suppressed in favor of Lenten propers. (That said, if March 19 or March 25 were to fall on a Sunday within Lent, the Sunday propers would of course win out over the feast propers).

Saint Joseph’s Day and the Annunciation are both important to salvation history. Fr Mead explains more in his weekly audio message.

Note that this year there is a special treat on Saint Joseph’s Day following the 5:30pm Festal Eucharist. Join us at 6:30pm for the Spring Theology Lecture. It’s free, and followed by a light reception.
