This Tuesday at 7:30pm, Andrew Nethsingha conducts the Choir of St. John’s College, Cambridge in a program of music by English composers. Founded in the 17th century, and today one of the finest men and boys choirs in the world, the ensemble’s distinctive ‘St. John’s Sound’ is known and loved by millions. The concert will include works by Ralph Vaughn Williams (Mass in G minor), Henry Purcell, and Hubert Parry, and contemporary pieces written for the choir by Jonathan Dove, James Burton and Jonathan Harvey.
