The text is the authority, and no specialized knowledge or reading outside the text is expected. Anyone who has read the assigned book is welcome to attend. Attendance has varied from the low teens to as many as 30 people.—————Upcoming seminar books (all sessions on Mondays, 6:15 to 7:45 p.m.)—March 22: Sara Maitland, Stations of the Cross—April 12: Walker Percy, Love in the Ruins—————————About Stations of the Cross: In this remarkable collaboration between a well-known author and a high-profile artist, Sara Maitland’s powerful stories transport us to first century Jerusalem, into the minds and hearts of the characters who played a part in Jesus’ journey to Calvary. Chris Gollon’s paintings, Stations of the Cross, were commissed for the church of St John on Bethnal Green, in the heart of London’s East End. The book pairs his paintings of each of the stations with Maitland’s stories and reflections.
